The cuts will take place in October (7-8 and 21-22), November (11-12) and December (2-3 and 16-17)
Map of stations with no service
The Ministry of Territory and Sustainability will be conducting tests on the ATC driverless trains over five weekends with a view to adding them to the L10 Sud line and starting up this branch of the service with four new stations: Foneria and Foc Cisell, in Barcelona, and Provençana and Ildefons Cerdà in Hospitalet de Llobregat. These tests make temporary closures necessary on the L9 Sud.
There are 15 stations affected in all between Zona Universitària and Aeroport T1. Service will finish at the usual time on Friday and resume as normal on the following Monday.
There will no service on the following weekends:
- October: 7-8 and 21-22
- November: 11-12
- December: 2-3 and 16-17
- Rodalies line R2 Nord, with stops in the centre of El Prat and Barcelona-El Prat airport Terminal T2.
- TMB bus lines 46 (Pl. Espanya – Airport T1) and 65 (Pl. Espanya – El Prat) which will run more frequently.
- Municipal bus services from the towns of L'Hospitalet and El Prat de Llobregat.
The tests will enable the two stations on L10 in the municipality of Barcelona to be put into service in 2018, followed by the two stations in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat in 2019.
On the dates in question, users from El Prat and the airport should use the other railway connections and the scheduled bus services.
