The general public can submit their tax returns and get information on the various ATC taxes
The Catalan Tax Agency (ATC) has completed its roll-out with the opening of 27 new offices across Catalonia: 14 regional offices and 13 shared with local authorities. These 27 offices join the three regional offices of the ATC in Girona, Tarragona and Lleida, the central services in Barcelona, and the Barcelonès Nord Regional Office (Poblenou) that was opened in February. This means that the ATC now has 32 offices which aim to provide a better, more accessible and efficient service to the general public.
The branch office network has been expanded 15 with the new regional offices opening in Granollers, Manresa, Mataró, Sabadell, Sant Feliu de Llobregat, Terrassa, Vic, Vilafranca del Penedès, Figueres, La Bisbal d'Empordà, Santa Coloma de Farners, La Seu d'Urgell, Reus and Tortosa.
They provide the following services:
– Management of tax records.
– Appointment service.
– Submission of self-assessments of taxes managed by the ATC, and receipt and registration of the documents associated with these taxes.
– Information on the taxes managed by the ATC and the provincial councils, town councils and other local authorities that are members of Taxes of Catalonia.
The 32 offices from which the ATC will be operating from September, along with the 161 information points and the one-stop shop in the Taxes of Catalonia network represent a total of 193 assistance and service points for taxpayers.
The 32 ATC offices will take control of all the community's own and ceded taxes
