Strike by security staff at Barcelona–El Prat airport

From Monday, August 14, workers' strike who handle security control at Barcelona–El Prat airport is 24 hours 7 days. The Government Representative Office has established a minimum service level of 90%. 


The Catalan Consumer Agency recommends that passengers get to the airport earlier than usual. If you need to check in your baggage, it is advisable to contact the airline before going to the airport to find out how far in advance they recommend you get to the check-in desk. 

In the event of any kind of incident (missing a flight, etc.) you can submit a claim for state liability for the malfunction of a public service to the Ministry of Public Works as the department ultimately responsible for airport management:
